Read, create, update, and delete Apple Calendar events on the local macOS machine. Use this skill when the user wants to inspect calendars, list events in a bounded time window, or modify Apple Calendar items directly from OpenClaw on a Mac.

Choose how to use this skill

You do not need every option. Choose the path your AI client supports. The stable page stays the same; versioned files are immutable.

1. Native installer

This listing has no registered native installer command. Use the complete package or source fallback below, depending on what your client supports.

Do not guess an installer command or replace an existing version without reviewing the diff.

2. Complete package recommended

Download the ZIP when available. It includes SKILL.md plus the references, security notes and version metadata.

No complete ProSkills package is published for this listing yet.

3. Prompt-only

Copy the prompt above when the agent can read the stable page or when you want to adopt the workflow without installing a skill.

Need only the instruction file?

Download SKILL.md only if your client requires a single file. The complete ZIP is safer for a full installation because it preserves the references and release context.

No path installs or executes anything by itself. Your agent still needs access to the project files. Before updating, compare the installed version and review the diff.

Apple Calendar OpenClaw Skill

An OpenClaw skill for reading, creating, updating, and deleting Apple Calendar events directly on macOS.

This repo includes:

  • A skill definition in SKILL.md
  • OpenClaw UI metadata in agents/openai.yaml
  • A native Swift CLI built on EventKit
  • Shell scripts for local invocation and installation

Requirements

  • macOS
  • Xcode Command Line Tools or Xcode with swiftc
  • Calendar access granted to the app or terminal host running the commands

Commands

./scripts/apple-calendar list-calendars
./scripts/apple-calendar list-events --start 2026-03-22T00:00:00-04:00 --end 2026-03-23T00:00:00-04:00
./scripts/apple-calendar create-event --calendar Work --title "Planning" --start 2026-03-22T15:00:00-04:00 --end 2026-03-22T15:30:00-04:00
./scripts/apple-calendar update-event --id EVENT_ID --title "Updated title"
./scripts/apple-calendar add-attendees --id EVENT_ID --emails "person1@example.com,person2@example.com"
./scripts/apple-calendar delete-event --id EVENT_ID

The script compiles the Swift CLI on demand into .build/local/, which is ignored by git.

Adding attendees uses Calendar.app automation because Apple EventKit does not expose writable attendee APIs. macOS may ask the invoking host app for Automation permission to control Calendar, and attendee changes only work on calendars that support invitations.
